You can feel it when you take your first steps outside: the brisk, cooler than expected air rushes to greet your face and the dew on the grass feels a bit crisper to the touch. Fall is scheduled to arrive in all its glory next week. As summer fades to little more than a memory, it has been leaving us with some killer morning sunrises and spectacular evening sunsets.
While not everything this season has worked out the way we wanted, I reflect back on mainly success and growth for our thriving little flower farm. With a nice warm piece of pumpkin spice cake and hot apple cider, the transition to fall is a most welcome change.
